OSMOTIC PRESSURE POWER GENERATION SYSTEM WITH SEAWATER DESALTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate power by utilizing positive osmotic pressure energy which a concentrated seawater generated simultaneously when extracting a desalinated water from a seawater contains, in a seawater desalting apparatus desalting seawater by using reverse osmotic pressure, and to discharge to the sea the concentrated seawater whose salt concentration is reduced. SOLUTION: The dilution water such as the seawater or the desalinated water whose the concentration is lower than the concentrated seawater is penetrated to the concentrated seawater generated simultaneously when desalting the seawater by using the reverse osmotic pressure in the seawater desalting apparatus 2 through a semipermeable membrane. The flow rate of the concentrated seawater side is increased by the positive osmotic pressure energy. The power is generated by driving a water flow power generator 26 by the increased flow rate.
