PURPOSE: Provided is a functional mattress which lets heating elements radiating a far-infrared ray added to general mattress so that it shows various effects by the far-infrared ray such as fatigue relief, antibacterial function, blood circulation or so on. CONSTITUTION: The functional mattress comprises the parts of: the heating element(10) which radiates the far-infrared ray; an electric wire which is connected to the heating element; a mattress sheet(20) which lets holes for the heating element and grooves for the electric wire formed to house the heating element connected to the electric wire; and a current supplier which supplies current to the heating element and controls current, with wrapping up the surface of the mattress sheet by materials, which are good for human body.
