FIELD: methods and devices for identifying personality by palm parameters. SUBSTANCE: method includes illumination of palm put on transparent sheet in special way, one- dimensional registration of at least two cross linear sections in fingers area in reflected rays, generation of identification characteristic from block of one-dimensional imprints obtained, and comparison of identification characteristic generated with that memorized. Illumination is carried out from transparent-sheet underside, each cross linear section being illuminated sequentially and one-dimensional imprints being recorded in scattered quasi-parallel rays extracted from radiation flux reflected from palm.
