FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway rolling stock, particularly, to freight cars for transportation of long cut loads or timber. Proposed flat car contains running gears with fitted-on frame consisting of center sill, side longitudinal and cross beams on which side and corners posts reinforced by stiffening members are installed. Side beams of frame are made of Z-shaped sections. Corner posts are made to trough-shaped sections. Side webs 12 of post sections are provided with rectangular cutout in lower part. Sheet members are installed inside box section in height of posts. Sheet members are displaced relative to end faces of webs of trough-shaped sections. Stiffening members in lower part of posts are installed with inclination relative to longitudinal plane of flat car. EFFECT: reduced metal usage. 5 cl, 6 dwg
