摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery, of which the productivity is good, the energy density is large, and the short-circuit does not occur, by utilizing effectively the advantageous points, in which it has the high energy density that the non-aqueous electrolyte batteries, such as lithium - manganese dioxide battery, originally have, compared with other batteries, and it can constitute the battery using inexpensive materials, and by solving problems that collectors with high occurrence rate of short-circuit and large volume must be used. SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolyte battery is constituted by using SUS444 foil, of which the thickness as the collector of positive electrode is 20μm or less and the intensity after rolling and annealing is 200 Hv or less, and by using SUS444 for a positive-electrode can and/or a positive-electrode terminal. As for the thickness of SUS444 foil as the collector of the above positive electrode, it is desirable that it is 6μm or more and 12μm or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
