PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pick up which adjusts XY directions and a skew, and has improved reliability with simple construction. SOLUTION: In the optical pick up 20 including a biaxial actuator 22 in which a fixed part 24 is integrally attached to an optical base 21, and an objective lens 25a attached to the movable part 25 of the biaxial actuator, the optical pick up 20 is constituted so that an optical base 21 is formed by sheet metal working and the fixed part 24 of the biaxial actuator is directly fixed by soldering to the optical base after the XY direction adjustment and the skew adjustment.
