The telephone connection system has a system (2) with a subscriber number display and memory (48) for telephone numbers. There is an autonomous telecommunication terminal (4,6) which functions independently of the display mechanism from a memory (16,24) which contains the telephone number subscriber list. The lists are used to establish communications with the user.
