<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device in which flawing possibly causing a lowering of sealing property can be prevented and classification work at the time of recycling of component parts is simple. <P>SOLUTION: A first lip member 42 is formed using an elastomer without utilizing a base material made of metal. A support member 41 supports and fixes the first and second lip members 42, 43 and a back-up ring 44 in an accommodation chamber 2B. The support member 41 can be attached to the accommodation chamber 2B in the state that the first lip member 42 is attached to the accommodation chamber 2B. The first lip member 42 is fixed to the accommodation chamber 2B by receiving a pressing force generated by the fact that the support member 41 is attached to the accommodation chamber 2B. Further, the first lip member 42 seals a gap with an inner surface by being pressed to the inner surface of the accommodation chamber 2B by the pressing force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
