PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a multilayer heat insulating material or the internal and external walls of a cooling vessel for superconducting coil device which coolingly holds a superconducting coil device for AC, such as the superconducting transformer, etc., by dipping the device in liquid nitrogen, etc., from being broken by discharge taking place in a vacuum insulating space by preventing the internal wall of the vessel from being charged electrostatically. SOLUTION: The wall section of the cooling vessel for superconducting coil device is constituted in a double wall structure of the internal wall and external wall by using an electrical insulating material and the space between the internal and external walls is formed as the vacuum insulating space in which a radiation heat blocking film is disposed as necessary. A grounding conductor is disposed in the vacuum insulating space so as to cover the surface of the internal wall of the vessel and the conductor is electrically grounded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
