摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation controller, a rotation control method, and an optical master disk exposure device, capable of reducing a position detection error due to the superimpose of noise in a rotation control system to be used for the master disk recording of an optical disk and realizing the high precision of the rotation control. SOLUTION: An optical beam irradiation device is provided with: a rotational position detector 20 for detecting the rotational position of a master disk 3 and outputting a detection signal; a control circuit 24 for supplying the control signal of an optical signal or an electric signal to the rotational position detector 20 and supplying a driving signal for driving rotation to a rotary motor 4 based on the detection signal of the optical signal from the rotational position detector 20; and uni-directional or bi-directional optical fiber cables 25 and 26 disposed between the rotational position detector 20 and the control circuit 24. Thus, the optical transmission of a signal related with the detection of the rotational position is executed so that the influence of any electrical noise on the transmission path can be reduced, and that the precision of the rotation control can be improved.
