PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized/economized connector for an FPC wherein the fitting state of the FPC to the connector for the FPC is surely capable of confirmation by visual observation. SOLUTION: In the state that a claw part 3a of a slider 3 is made to slide and to be fitted into a concave part 4a for an insertion side slider lock of the connector main body 1 molded by a transparent or semi-transparent resin, and in the locking state that the FPC 2 is made to be loosely inserted into a hole part 3a of the slider 3 and the connector is mounted on the slider bottom face wall 5, the claw part 3a of the slider 3 is made to slide further and is made to be fitted into a concave part 4b for the depth part side slider lock of the connector main body 1, a convex part 10 to become a lens is installed at the depth part side of the connector main body ceiling face wall 6 so that the visual observation that the electrical connecting state between the FPC 2 and the substrate is secured via a terminal 7 installed at the connector main body ceiling face wall 6 can be carried out by magnifying the FPC tip part 9.
