PURPOSE: A tilting apparatus for a cap of a truck is provided to absorb a movement of the cap by vibrating double piston rods up and down when outer vibration is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder connecting a cap of a truck with a chassis frame comprises a cylinder, a first piston rod(20), a second piston rod(30) and a rubber damper. An inner wall of the cylinder is identical in diameter. The first piston rod is formed like a circular pipe and adhered to the cap on one end by a rotating shaft. The second piston rod is connected to the hydraulic cylinder on one end and inserted to the inside of the first piston rod on the other end. The rubber damper is installed to an inner wall of the second piston rod as a T shape in symmetrical to a central axis of the piston rod. A flat upper surface of the rubber damper meets an outer peripheral surface of the second piston rod. Therein, right and left shaking of the piston rod is prevented. Four or more rubber dampers are installed.
