METHOD FOR CORRECTING MISSING VALUE OF HIGH CAPACITY TRAFFIC DATA

PURPOSE: A method for correcting a missing value of high capacity traffic data is provided to detect specific information necessary for correction from perfect data in an integrated DB collected from various exchanges, so as to correct a corresponding missing value in imperfect data in the integrated DB by using the specific information. CONSTITUTION: A missing value correction table is produced from traffic information collected from each exchange, and is classified according to services by using a stored service code(S10). A ratio of each timed-attempted call number for a total attempted call number is calculated from data without a missing value for each service table, and a calculated result is set as an initial value(S20). An average value of an attempted call number for a total attempted call number of data without a missing value is calculated each trunk line by using the initial value(S30). An average value of an attempted call number for a total attempted call number of data without a missing value is calculated each time(S40). A ratio of each timed-attempted call number for a total attempted call number is reset by using the average attempted call number value(S50). An average value of an attempted call number for a total attempted call number of data without a missing value each trunk is re-calculated by using the ratio of the attempted call number each time(S60). The first allowable variance and the second allowable variance are generated by using the attempted call number ratio each time and the value of the average attempted call number(S70). If the first and second allowable variances are not larger than the first and second reference values(S80), a correction value is calculated by using the average value of the attempted call number and the ratio of the attempted call number each time(S90).
