摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a carbon monoxide removal apparatus being capable of effectively removing carbon monoxide by converting carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide at a low temperature, having a simple structure and high energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a housing(10) with a gas inlet(21) and a gas outlet(22) at the front end and back end thereof, respectively, an inhaling motor(12) for compulsively introducing air through a dust filter(11) installed at the inlet(22) to the housing(10), a pre-heating chamber(10a) with a plurality of heating plate(13) installed in the housing(10) for pre-heating the air introduced into the housing(10) and lengthening a passage of the air, a catalyst chamber(14) installed in the housing(10) and having a plurality of honeycombs(14), therein, which are divided by compartments(32) and coated with catalyst which converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide, and a thermocouple(23) for detecting a temperature of gas passing out the outlet(22) of the housing, a gas sensor(24) for detecting concentration of carbon monoxide contained in the gas passing out the outlet(22) of the housing(10), and a controller(15) electrically connected to the thermocouple(23) and the gas sensor(24).
