<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of the document service request in a mobile computing device. <P>SOLUTION: The document service request includes a first parameter for discriminating a document accessible to a document server. The device information for discriminating the type of an output device 106 available by one of at least two communication channels is obtained in the mobile computing device 110, and this request is added as a second parameter. These parameters are transmitted to a document server 108 from the mobile computing device on one of the communication channels. The mobile computing device makes the communication with the document server through one of the communication channels, and with the output device through the other communication channel, and controls the connection between both sides to transmit the document between both sides with a format suitable for the output device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
