PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device, and data structure which enable plural- channel data stream transmission by inserting the data for transmission into some of a plurality of transport stream nominally including null packets. SOLUTION: The restoration of an initial data stream using a data packet to be transmitted via a plurality of data channels becomes possible by relating a packet to be inserted to the information about a stream identifier (312) and a sequence code (314).
