PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high quality communication in a radio wave reception circumstance e.g. in mobile communication, etc., wherein a desired wave and a delayed wave arrive simultaneously. SOLUTION: Noting that a signal y<SB>1</SB>output from a desired wave generating section (composition section 1 in the figure) contains some amount of delayed waves, but main component of the signal is the desired waves, the signal is subtracted from received signals x<SB>1n</SB>(1≤n≤4), received on respective antennas, at a desired wave subtracting section in the figure, to generate secondary signals x<SB>2n</SB>(1≤n≤4). Then, a signal y<SB>2</SB>containing only the delayed valves is composed based on the secondary signal at a delayed wave generating section (composition section 2 in the figure). This signal y<SB>2</SB>and a desired wave component contained in the output signal y<SB>1</SB>of the composition section 1 are combined. At this time, it is desirable that the signal y<SB>1</SB>and the signal y<SB>2</SB>are combined after their times and phases are aligned as accurately as possible.
