PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station apparatus capable of easily performing radio connection/radio communication between base stations. SOLUTION: A first base station apparatus transmits and receives a plurality of first packets with a second base station apparatus when the second base station apparatus is a communicating party and transmits and receives a plurality of second packets with the communicating party when one of a plurality of terminal apparatuses connected to the first base station apparatus is the communicating party. The first base station apparatus transmits a third packet to the second base station apparatus, the third packet corresponding to one of the first packets to be transmitted from the first base station apparatus in an authentication process performed with the second base station apparatus at the time of radio connection with the second base station apparatus and including a first data item for making the second base station apparatus recognize that the first base station apparatus is a base station apparatus.
