PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop clutch capable of being used for a longer time without risk of breakage, compared with any conventional loop clutch, even if it is used in the condition that an intense force is applied to its contacting part with a connecting metal piece. SOLUTION: The top of a hook member is fixed to a base part 1 rotatably. The hook member 2 is provided with a shutting member 3 to shut an opening formed in the hook member in such a way as capable of being left open. A curving portion of the hook member 2 is furnished with a shaft member 5 extending in the horizontal; direction in a plane which the axis 4 of the hook member 2 forms.
