PURPOSE: To provide a slider retaining box for a hide slide fastener, whose insert pin is not rotated by tensile force when the insert pin is inserted into the box body. CONSTITUTION: In a slider retaining box for a hide slide fastener, reinforcing parts 20, 21 to reinforce folded edge parts of a fastener tape T are integrally formed with a box pin 2 and an insert pin 3 using a resin. The reinforcing parts 20, 21 are projected, over the upper face of the fastener tape T. The bottom end of the reinforcing part 21 to the insert pin 3 side is formed in a plane same as the box pin 2. A projecting part 32 projected parallel with the insert pin 3 is equipped on the tip end of the reinforcing part 21 to the insert pin 3 side. A L-shape engaging part 17 and an abutting part 16 are equipped on the surface of the box body 1. The box pin 2 is inserted into the box body 1 to fix. When the insert pin 3 is inserted into the inserting hole 6, the projecting part 32 of the reinforcing part 21 abuts on the engaging part 17 to prevent the insert pin 3 from rotating in the inserting hole 6. |
