<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming material having no unevenness in coating, a smooth coated surface state, a uniform layer thickness, no irregular color, no repellency, no pinhole and excellent adhesiveness to a glass substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming material obtained by disposing coating layers comprising at least an alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer and a photosensitive resin layer in this order on a support, a copolymer comprising monomers of formulae (a)-(c) is contained in at least one of the thermoplastic resin layer and the photosensitive resin layer. In the formulae, R<SB>01</SB>-R<SB>07</SB>are each H or a 1-5C alkyl; R<SB>1</SB>is a single bond or a linking group containing at least one selected from O, N and S; R<SB>2</SB>is a single bond or a linking group containing at least one selected from C, O, N and S; n is an integer of 1-20; m is an integer of 2-14; and l is an integer of 0-10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
