METHOD OF WORKING METAL MOLD FOR MOLDING LIGHT TRANSMISSION PLATE BY RESIN, AND METAL MOLD AND LIGHT TRANSMISSION PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the permeability of light over the entire part of a light transmission plate having a prism surface.

SOLUTION: The transparent prism-molding surface 5 of the metal mold 1 for molding the light transmission plate is worked and finished to a mirror finished surface by elliptic vibration machining and the light transmission plate 10 is molded of a resin by the mold 1, by which the surface 5 (mirror finished surface) is transferred to the prism surface 9 of the plate 10 molded by the mold 1 and the surface 9 of the plate 10 is molded to the mirror finished surface to improve the permeability of the light over the entire part of the surface 9 (mirror finished surface), thereby improving the permeability of the light over the entire of the plate 10.
