VARIABLE GROUP DELAY COMPENSATOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noises of delayed signals caused by the reflection of light at the wavelength in the unnecessary orders on a light reflecting element by disposing a slit member in front of the light reflecting element.

SOLUTION: The compensator comprises a multiple reflector which accepts the incident light to generate the exiting light in different exiting angles depending on wavelengths and a light returning part which returns the exiting light to the multiple reflector. A slit member is disposed between the multiple reflector and the light returning part so as to pass the light only in the required orders to reflect on the reflecting element. The method for designing the aperture width and the method for mounting the slit member are also established.
