<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline storage battery in which generation of voids is prevented at the heat seal in the assembly process of the alkaline storage battery, and there is no defects at the jointing face after fusion of the nylon battery case and the nylon lid, and sealing performance of the electrolyte is greatly improved. <P>SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of an alkaline storage battery in which an alkaline storage battery 1 is manufactured by heat seal of a nylon battery case 2 and a nylon lid 3. The nylon battery case and the nylon lid are sealed by making the moisture content of the nylon case and the nylon lid 0.3% or less respectively. The nylon case and nylon lid are predried for three hours in the atmosphere of 80°C, and after making the moisture content of the nylon case and nylon lid 0.3% or less respectively, they are heat sealed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
