<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component assembling unit which is excellent in assembly efficiency and general-purpose properties capable of stably and surely inserting the terminal of an electronic component into a hole bored in a board even if the terminal varies in diameter or size. <P>SOLUTION: This assembling unit is equipped with a holding means 110 holding the terminal Pb of an electronic component P, moves the electronic component P together with the holding means 110 to a board S side, and inserts the terminal Pb of the electronic component P into a hole bored in the board S for assembly. Furthermore the assembling unit is equipped with a bearing member 131 which moves to or retreats from the electronic component P held by the holding means 110, and a drive unit 132 which moves the bearing member 131. The bearing member 131 is moved to bear against the electronic component P held by the holding means 110, and an electronic component swing preventing means 130 preventing the electronic component P from swinging is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
