<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a toilet that is capable of efficient cooling without requiring an agitator or the like, facilitates cleaning of a condenser and a water storage tank and reduces time and man-hours for work on installation to the toilet. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a housing 10 mounted above the water tank 17 stored with wash water for the flush toilet 19 and also comprises, inside the housing 10, a refrigerant circuit to which a compressor 13, the condenser 14, an expansion valve 15 and an evaporator 11 are connected in a toroidal configuration, a cooling air blower 12 for blowing air on the evaporator 11, and a cooling tank 30 housing the condenser 14.
