<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high speed data transmission between an electric system and optical networks for optical data transmission which data transmission is improved by largely and simultaneously reducing the amount of necessary gates and power to be practically used. <P>SOLUTION: In order to ensure transmission and reception of parallel data which are based on high speed transmission rate between the electric system (1) and the optical networks (2) which are adapted to optical transmission, a plurality of logic channels (TXDATA, RXDATA) having data to be transmitted which are buried in the channels are transmitted synchronously, together with an additional control channel (TXPAR), from the electric system (1) to the optical networks (2). The additional control channel (TXPAR) contains information which can be used for detecting transmission errors by using receiving means which is adapted to each of the optical networks. As a result, it is ensured that a clock rate has a rate which is one-half of a transmission rate of each of the logic channels (TXDATA, RXDATA). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
