PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time required for a defrosting operation and reduce a change of a condition inside a tank. SOLUTION: In a refrigerating system, a cooler of two systems is installed, and switching between a single stage operation and a binary refrigerating system operation is implemented. In this refrigerating system, at the time of frost formation detection in the single stage operation, an operation system is switched from the single stage operation to the binary operation by switching a solenoid valve, and defrosting of the frosted cooler is carried out. An operation is enabled in which a part of high temperature refrigerant is made to flow to the frosted cooler. The frost formation of the cooler at high temperature side at the single stage operation is detected and switching of the operation system to the binary operation, whereby defrosting of the frosted cooler is performed while continuing an operation of the refrigerating system, which enables continuous testing for a long period. Further, the part of the high temperature refrigerant is made to flow to the frosted cooler, whereby reduction of the time for defrosting is implemented, output of a heater for temperature adjustment is reduced, and energy saving at the defrosting operation is implemented.
