PURPOSE: A supplementary apparatus for measuring and improving a strip profile is provided to correct the strip profile by using an auxiliary roll installed at the very front portion of a skin pass mill. CONSTITUTION: A supplementary apparatus includes a correction roll(10), a fixing roll(11), a shape meter(12), a reverse-bending measuring section(13), and a plurality of auxiliary rolls(8). The correction roll(10) is movably installed at a lower portion of a threading strip(7). The fixing roll(11) is spaced from the correction roll(10) in order to press an upper end of the threading strip(7). The shape meter(12) measures a shape of the threading strip(7) in a non-contact manner. The reverse-bending measuring section(13) installed at an upper portion of the threading strip(7) so as to adjust a movement of the correction roll(10) by measuring a lengthwise reverse-bending of the threading strip(7). The auxiliary rolls(8) are installed at a lower portion of the threading strip(7).
