SUPPORTING SYSTEM RECEIVING ROTATIVE MOVEMENT OF BRIDGE DECK

摘要

PURPOSE: A supporting system receiving the rotative movement of a bridge deck is required to install a new bridge deck crossing over other established structures or any obstacles without causing traffic congestion. CONSTITUTION: The supporting system contains a horizontal movement-restrained device effectively preventing a bridge deck from moving at fixed point and a bearing plate supporting the whole vertical load of a bridge deck. The process of installing a new bridge deck is composed of: erecting temporary structures(10); putting a new bridge deck on the temporary structures in order to make the bridge deck ready to turn on the center of a temporary structure(110); turning the bridge deck until reaching the other temporary structure(110'); dismantling the established temporary structures.
