ROTARY COMBINATION TYPE CUTTER

摘要

FIELD: metal working by means of combination type cutter combining blade working and abrasive-diamond working and designed for turning and boring hard-to-work materials. SUBSTANCE: cutter includes holder and cutting member mounted in holder on pivot with possibility of rotation and having cutting edge along the whole circle; upper and lower bases and cylindrical lateral surface. In order to enhance efficiency and quality of working, cutting member has on rear surface along generatrix of cylindrical surface abrasive-diamond portion. Cutting member may be designed for mounting by large negative kinematic front top rake angle in range 50 - 60 degrees. Cutter may be provided with two cone roller bearings mounted on pivot and assembled together with cutting member. The last is in the form of outer race of said bearings and has in its opening profiled surface in the form of two straight cones mutually joined by their small bases.
