PURPOSE: A lamp assembly of projector is provided to efficiently radiate heat of a lamp concentrated in an iron and to prevent deformation or breakage of a funnel caused by overheating. CONSTITUTION: Lamp assembly of a projector comprises a funnel(12) having an iron(14) on a rear portion; a net(16) surrounding the iron; a connecting bolt(18) protruded form the iron; a lamp(10) mounted on a side of the funnel; a connecting terminal(13) mounted on the lamp; a high voltage cable(30) engaged with the connecting bolt and the connecting terminal of the lamp; a lamp holder(20) supporting the lamp; a radiating plate(40) inserted to the iron of the lamp by a through hole(40a); a ring shaped terminal(32) mounted on the high voltage cable; a nut(34) fixing the radiating plate on the connecting bolt; and a washer(35). The radiating plate is contacted to a surface of the iron to extend the surface of the iron. Thereby, the lamp assembly of the projector efficiently radiates heat of the lamp concentrated in an iron to prevent deformation or breakage of the funnel caused by overheating.
