<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order entry system to be handled by each customer himself capable of solving such conventional problems at a restaurant, etc., where orders are placed through waiter, etc., that the customers must wait for making the order at the peak time full with people, or otherwise that well trained staff must be stationed excessively so as not to cause the customers to wait to lead to a rise of the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The order entry system is configured so that each box of seats is equipped with a barcode reader, entry display device, and a menu with barcodes, and when any customer enters his desired items from the menu, the order data is transmitted to an order management server device installed in the restaurant, etc., via a domestic wireless system, and a cooking instruction sheet is printed automatically by a printer device installed in the kitchen, whereby it is possible for the customer at his seat to make order directly to the kitchen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
