DEVICE FOR MOUNTING BAND FOR FIXING COMMUNICATION CABLE OR SHEATH PIPE THROUGH WHICH THE COMMUNICATION CABLE IS PASSED TO INSIDE WALL OF PIPELINE, AND METHOD OF FIXING THE COMMUNICATION CABLE OR THE SHEATH PIPE TO THE INSIDE WALL BY BAND-MOUNTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mounting band to be fitted to the inside wall of the pipeline by a very simple operation and reliably without needing a monitor camera and the like.

SOLUTION: In the band-mounting device 6 that fixes the sheath pipe 4 of the communication cable to the inside wall of a main pipe 1 at a certain interval by the mounting band 5, downward hooks 16 are provided protrusively at both sides of a main unit 11 capable of traveling freely. Each permeable hole at both end parts of the mounting band 5 in a contracted state is locked to each hook 16. Each end edge part of the mounting band 5 is pushed against each hook 16 from beneath by a band-pushing-up pad 17. This pad 17 is activated in such a way as to pressure contact each hook 16 at all times. When the top part of the mounting band 5 is made to pressure-contact the top part of the inside wall of the main pipe 1 by raising the hooks 16, to which the mounting band 5 is attached, and the pad 17, the both end parts of the mounting band 5 press down the pad 17 against activation. This force makes the mounting band 5 detach from each hook 16 and expand to pressure-contact the inside wall of the main pipe 1.
