PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method by which information is recorded on an information recording medium so that the difference and peculiarity of the functions of an information recording and reproducing device can be fully exhibited for every information recording and reproducing device the manufacturer or the distribution source of which differs when information recorded on the information recording medium is reproduced with the information recording and reproducing device. SOLUTION: Predetermined information reproducing devices record reproducible common information (2001). A specific information reproducing device among the predetermined information reproducing devices records reproducible specific information (2002), and further records link information (2003) which indicates the relationship between the common information and the specific information.
