PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely eliminate only annoying electronic mail from a mail server and to reduce burdens of receiving all the annoying electronic mail. SOLUTION: A dial-up router 100 for connecting the Internet 300 by using ISDN 600 is provided with a mail acquisition processing part 106 for acquiring mail header information of electronic mail from the mail server 201, a mail header analysis part 107 for decomposing the mail header information acquired by the mail acquisition processing part into fields, an elimination condition storage part 109 storing a plurality of the fields set beforehand in the mail header information as elimination conditions, and an annoying mail judgement part 108 for comparing the elimination conditions stored in the elimination condition storage part with the fields decomposed by the mail header analysis part and making the mail acquisition processing part eliminate the electronic mail pertinent to the mail header information from the mail server in the case that they partially match.
