PURPOSE: Resin-coated biowave steel is provided, which radiates a far infrared ray with a radiation ratio of 0.85 or more and exhibits antibacterial power of 90 % or more. CONSTITUTION: The resin-coated steel comprises 100 parts by weight of a resin; and 5-100 parts by weight of at least one kind of far infrared ray radiating powder selected from the group consisting of MgO, Mg(OH)2, ZnO, Zn(OH)2 and CaCO3, wherein the far infrared ray radiating powder is coated with the resin with a dry coating thickness of 5-60 micrometers. Preferably the far infrared ray radiating powder is MgO or Mg(OH)2 and its content is 5-100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the resin, and shows an antibacterial power of 90 % or more; the far infrared ray radiating powder is ZnO or Zn(OH)2 and its content is 20-100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the resin, and shows an antibacterial power of 90 % or more; and the far infrared ray radiating powder is CaCO3 and its content is 30-100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the resin, and shows an antibacterial power of 90 % or more. |
