PURPOSE: A method and a system for automatically converting a vibration mode in a wireless communication apparatus are provided to transmit a vibration mode conversion signal and automatically convert the wireless communication apparatus of a client to the vibration mode when the client is approached or entered in a vibration setup area. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(Global Positioning System) monitoring unit(115) monitors a position of a wireless communication apparatus(155) with reference to position trace data of the wireless communication apparatus(155) received from a satellite or base station(150). A position confirming unit(120) confirms whether position information data of the wireless communication apparatus(155) traced through the GPS monitoring unit(115) is matched with vibration setup area position information data previously stored in a vibration setup area database(140). If the entrance of the vibration setup area of the wireless communication apparatus(155) is confirmed through the position confirming unit(120), a vibration mode setup unit(130) generates a vibration mode conversion signal and transmits the generated vibration mode conversion signal to the wireless communication apparatus(155).
