METHOD OF MEASUREMENT OF MASS FLOW RATE OF POWDER-LIKE MEDIUM

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: powder-like medium is introduced through hole in lower portion of vertical reservoir and is fluidized by gas; gas is partially relieved from upper portion of reservoir and powder-like medium is drained from lower portion of reservoir through hole above point of its inlet. Then, two flows of gas are formed above point of draining of powder-like medium through two outlet holes found in tubes located at different level. Flow rate of powder-like medium is determined by calculation expression with the use of results of measurements of pressure in excessive pressure source, in two tubes and in upper portion of reservoir. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of measurements. 1 dwg
