PURPOSE: A sludge separating apparatus of cutting oil is provided to supply pure cutting oil by automatically separating sludge from cutting oil discharged from a surface grinder with a filter and removing remaining sludge. CONSTITUTION: A sludge separating device of cutting oil comprises a sludge separating container having a filter receiving sludge and cutting oil and discharging only cutting oil; a cutting oil storage container(50) connecting to the discharge part of the sludge separating container and receiving cutting oil; a level detecting sensor(70) detecting the level of cutting oil from the cutting oil storage container; and a pump(60) supplying the cutting oil from the cutting oil storage container. Pure cutting oil is supplied by separating sludge from the cutting oil through the filter.
