GUIDE CAGE WITH FUNCTION FOR PREVENTING LOSS OF COKE OVEN TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE: A guide cage with function for preventing loss of coke oven temperature is provided to prevent temperature loss of coke oven by cutting off inflow of the external air into the coke oven in the state that door is opened to stand by coke extrusion. CONSTITUTION: In a guide cage which is installed at an opening part of coke oven door to prepare for coke extrusion and guides extruded coke into quenching car, the guide cage with function for preventing loss of coke oven temperature comprises an air blocking plate(20) rotationally installed at the front inner side of cage main body for receiving red-hot coke discharged from the coke oven and consisted of an insulation board(40) made of a material capable of standing high heat and wire net(42) mounted on the insulation board(40) to cover inner and outer sides of the insulation board(40); a cylinder(30) connected to the air blocking plate(20) to rotate the air blocking plate(20), mounted on the cage main body and operated by coke extrusion information, wherein the guide cage further comprises a blocking plate housing part formed inside the cage main body in concave shape to secure a space capable of housing the air blocking plate(20) rotated for opening the cage main body.
