PURPOSE: A solenoid valve of a brake traction control system is provided to maintain braking pressure for an outlet of a hydraulic pump without a bypass passage and a relief valve by flowing oil toward a master cylinder with the solenoid valve open when pressure of the outlet of the hydraulic pump is over specific pressure. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve(90) of a brake traction control system has a valve core(91), an armature(94), a plunger(100) and a first spring(130). The plunger is equipped with an upper body(110) to an armature side and a lower body(120) to an inlet side. The lower body is equipped with a guide member(121), a piston(122) and a second spring(123). An end of the hollow guide member is combined to an outer surface of a lower end of the upper body. The piston is arranged to the guide member to open and close an inlet(91b) by an operation of the plunger. One end of the second spring is supported to the upper body and the other end to the piston. Therein, the piston moves back and forth by pressure for the inlet side with the inlet closed. Therefore, braking pressure for the outlet side of the hydraulic pump is adjusted without a bypass passage and a relief valve by flowing oil toward a master cylinder because the passage is opened with withdrawal of the piston.
