<p>It is found out that granulysin, which is a molecule having a cytolytic activity, occurs not only in natural killer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes but also in body fluids. A method of detecting granulysin having been completed based on this finding whereby extracellular granulysin is detected in body fluid specimens to examine the immunological conditions of subjects. According to this method, immunological conditions of subjects can be conveniently and surely understood.</p> |
