<p>A semi-finished product of an elastomeric mixture in the form of a thin strip (1) which is suitable for manufacturing the inner gas-impermeable liner (109) of a pneumatic tyre (101) of the tubeless type having a right cross section which is trapezoidal and symmetrical with respect to the centre of the strip is described. A method for manufacturing a tubeless tyre for vehicles comprising the step of forming the liner layer (109) by laying turns of strips (1) of the mixture arranged side-by-side and partly overlapping on a rigid support (10) in which said strips have a profile having a trapezoidal and symmetrical right cross section and are laid with the larger base of the trapezium in contact with the rigid support with overlap between the tapered portions of two adjacent turns is also described.</p> |
