<p>A system in which information is processed by the operation of a user at a user terminal such as a computer or a portable information terminal. The system is constructed of a server system accessed from the user terminal. The server system is provided with a mail box for each proxy mail address, a mail address correspondence table in which main mail addresses of the users and mail addresses of the recipients are in one-to-one correspondence with proxy mail addresses, and a program for creating a proxy mail address, issuing it to the user, converting the main mail address of the user of an electronic mail transmitted from the user terminal into proxy mail address, and transmitting the proxy mail address to the recipient. From the main mail address of the user and the mail address of the recipient contained in the electronic mail transmitted from the user terminal, the corresponding proxy mail address is extracted. The main mail address of the user is converted into the proxy mail address, and the proxy mail address is transmitted to the mail address of the recipient.</p> |
