Bearing with tilt facility has a segmented inner race

A bearing with tilt facility has an outer race with inner spherical surface and with the inner race comprising to or more segments each individually located inside the outer race. The segments have inner support surfaces to fit onto the central mounting, e.g. shaft, and have outer bearing profiles to run inside the spherical support surface. The segments can have plastic moulded housings to hold the bearing units and are linked by flexible ties which serve as spacers.
