A heat exchanger (HE) (3) above a liquid (4) in a pressure-tight container (2) condenses vapor to feed a condensed liquid back into a bath. A coolant flows through the HE, which has a coolant inlet (5) and outlet (6). Part of the HE forms part of the container's wall (10) and acts as a support plate (11) for a flow channel (12) for liquid and for a corrugated heat exchange element.
