LINE ON GLASS LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A line on glass liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce a line resistance value by shortening the length of a line on glass type gate low voltage transmission line, thereby preventing a first scanning line from being looked bright. CONSTITUTION: An image display unit includes a plurality of liquid crystal cells formed at every cross area of gate lines and data lines. A gate on storage type storage capacitor(Cst) is formed at each liquid crystal cell for maintaining pixel voltage charged in the liquid crystal cells. The image display unit includes a storage line(GL0) for forming the storage capacitor of the liquid crystal cell included in a first scanning line. A plurality of line on glass type signal lines(44) are formed at an outline area of the image display unit to transmit driving signals required by drive integrated circuits driving the gate lines and the data lines. The storage line is connected with a line on glass type gate low voltage transmission line(52) through a connection line(56) crossing other line on glass type signal lines.
