<p>The gas generator comprises a housing (20) with a first (22) and a second section (24), one or both of which have spacing means (44) which are designed so that in the event of relative movement of the housing sections in relation to one another a minimum value of the variable flow passage is maintained. An overflow opening formed by the two housing sections is completely closed before the activating of the propellant and opens after its activation, whereby the whole fluid flow is through the overflow opening.</p> |
