<p>An optical connection sleeve (1) for optically connecting an optical fiber (41) with an optical device (51) is constituted of a resin sleeve (15) including an end (10) on the side of inserting a ferrule (40) and a metal sleeve (16) including an end (12) on the side of mounting the optical device (51) and fixed by insert mold the resin sleeve (15). This constitution prevents a positional shift between the sleeve (1) and optical device part (50) to ensure the optical connection of the optical fiber (41) with optical device (51) and prevents the sleeve part extending cylindrically from functioning as an antenna for electromagnetic noises. This results in the realization of an optical connection sleeve for optically connecting the optical fiber (41) with optical elements such as optical device with a high precision, optical module, and optical communication module.</p> |
